A project dedicated to cyberbullying but also to the active promotion of respect and inclusion in the classroom and online has recently concluded in Year 7. The students, supported by the experts from the Community Media Education Association (MEC), worked on the empowerment of skills like respect, inclusion and collaboration. Particular attention was also given to the correct use of mobile phones.
As of now students will be able to recognize cyberbullying instances and the Internet hidden dangers. They also reinforced their critical spirit and reflective attitude towards the use of the Net and the digital devices. They are on the right track to become excellent “digital citizens”!
