“LIBRARY WITH TWO Ps” LABORATORY

On November 27th the children of Year 4 participated to a thematic workshop entitled "Library With Two Ps", organized by the "Vincenzo Joppi" Civic Library and dedicated specifically to "Pippi Longstocking" and "Pimpa". In 2025 two birthdays were celebrated: Pippi Longstocking turns 80 and Pimpa turno 50. These two literary characters were created for fun and still resonate with different generations today, perhaps because they convey aspects of childhood that remain unchanged, regardless of the era. During the activity our students discovered everything about the origins of the two characters, but also browsed throught many beautiful books, some so unique they required a special magnifying glass!
