On
June 6th the class of
Year 3 went to the mountain village of
Pesariis (UD) to visit the
Clock Museum and the
monumental clockmacking trail. This small village in Carnia, despite its small size, is indeed
one of the most important Italian centers for the production of clocks!
The children also took part in the
workshop "Clocks in Art", during which they were able to
develop their very personal versions of the Pesariis clocks, inspired by famous art works of painters who have placed different clocks into their paintings over the centuries. At the end of the visit, the group moved to the nearby
"Sot La Napa" holiday farm to enjoy a lunch with pasta with tomato sauce, "frico" with cornmeal mush and cream tart with strawberries!
