A sustainable fashion project came to an end for Year 9 on the 07th of March, as the students presented their creations made with recycled and waste materials. The project is part of a journey that has involved the kids from last November, following the guidelines of the Junk Kouture international competition.

The students were able to face various challenges, from the need to create a dress that spoke about environmental issues, to the recovery of materials, to the creation of something consistent with the chosen theme, to the need to coordinate and work in a team, putting different skills at play. The experience was very rewarding and now their projects have been sent to the Junk Kouture jury in order to be evaluated, together with those of many other students around the world.

We wish them all the best of luck!!
