On the 6th of February the students from Year 9 have been visited in class by the fashion designer Hilda Maha. She shared her work experience and explained the behind-the-scenes aspects of the fashion world between creativity, planning, budgeting, sustainability and research for new techniques and environmentally friendly materials.
After that it was time to discuss the fashion projects the class is working on for the “Junk Kouture” international competition, a particular contest for students that create and model fashion items made from recycled objects!
