Today is Remembrance Day, an international event celebrated the 27th January of every year in order to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust. All our middle school students will be at the Visionario cinema in Udine to watch “Anna Frank and the secret diary”.
The movie follows the story of Kitty, Anna’s imaginary friend, to whom the Jewish girl dedicated her famous diary and who magically comes to life in modern-day Amsterdam. Kitty is sure that Anna is still alive and travels around Europe in the hope of finding her, while she feels stunned in front of today’s world and its evolutions. This is how the girl will come face to face with something she never initially imagined she’d find: Anna’s legacy.
