This morning our students from Year 8 and Year 9 had the opportunity  to do a full immersion course at school on first aid thanks to three operators of the SORES FVG (Regional Health Emergency Operations Room).

The course covered how to properly make emergency calls, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), defibrillator use, hemorrhage management and clearing the upper airway. The students also practiced with a mannequin and defibrillator, in order to experience firsthand the basics of first aid.

It was a unique and engaging experience for all participants, both educationally and socially beneficial!
