From the 21st to the 26th of April a group of students and teachers of our Junior High School went in Turkey to participate in the new stage of the Erasmus+ project “The Show Must Go On”, specifically in the city of Konya. After a first meeting in Norway, and the Italian stage organized by our School last October, this fantastic European project reaches its first year of activity.

After a short detour dedicated to the wonderful city of Istanbul, where students and teachers were able to visit the historic center and see the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Basilica of the Cistern up close, the delegation moved to Konya and met the representatives of the other European schools involved in the project. It has been an intensive week dedicated to the discovery of the territory and the local traditions, but also to the study of the teaching methodologies used in Turkey, and to a whole series of theatrical workshops focused on inclusion and diversity, environment and climate change, digital transformation.

This was another beautiful experience! “The Show Must Go On” continues to prove to be a special experiment for all the people involved, students and teachers, because it is a real cultural exchange between countries that are very different from each other. We are very happy to be able to offer this kind of experience to our students and we would like to thank all the school staff and the parents involved in the organization of the project! Next stop….the island of Mallorca, in Spain!
