On November 14th the children of Reception (4 years old) welcomed in their class the president on the Alpine Masks Makers Consortium. This association was founded in 2002 by a group of wooden carnival mask sculptors from various Alpine towns in northeast Italy.
The final objective of the activity was to show the children how to carve a wooden butterfly, as well as to show them up close the tools typically used for this type of carving!
