Between the 6th and the 09th of June the Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 classes will go to the Magredi, an area of the western Friuli plains, to visit the educational farm “Gelindo dei Magredi” and participate in workshops dedicated to food, to animals and to the local area. Year 1 children will put their hands at work on pastry dough, Year 2 will get to know the habitat of the area, focusing on herbs, flowers and birds, and Year 3 will study the cycle that leads from grass to cheese.
At the end of these beautiful days in the outdoors all children will be guided in a tour around the farm and will enjoy a sumptuous and typical farmhouse lunch!
