CARVING DEMONSTRATION

On November 14th the children of Reception (4 years old) welcomed in their class the president on the Alpine Masks Makers Consortium. This association was founded in 2002 by a group of wooden carnival mask sculptors from various Alpine towns in northeast Italy. The final objective of the activity was to show the children how to carve a wooden butterfly, as well as to show them up close the tools typically used for this type of carving!
