On October 26th the class of Year 5 hosted a beekeeper in class, who introduced the children to the fascinating world of bees!
Through a PowerPoint presentation, they learnt how this vital insect lives and works, how honey is produced, why pollination is essential, and how a decline in the world’s bee population could impact our environment and the food chain.
