However, some &#8220;foreign&#8221; animals &#8211; introduced accidentally or intentionally &#8211; are <strong>endangering local ecosystems<\/strong>. This is the phenomenon of invasive species, a problem that currently affects the entire world.<\/p>\n<p>Through the <strong>observation and alasysis<\/strong> of museum artifacts, the workshop guided the students in <strong>discovering the value of biodiversity<\/strong> and how it is threatened. <strong>A critical approach<\/strong> was developed to understand the ecological dynamics at play, and the students reflected together on the <strong>concepts of land management, protection, and conservation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 29th the children of Year 8 visited the Natural History Museum for a project called &#8220;Aliens and Biodiversity&#8221;.
