Tomorrow, November 10th, our Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 classes will be at the Palamostre theatre in Udine to attend to the “Peter Pan” show.

Peter Pan is a story of absence, of a void that often remains unbridgeable, of time that is beyond our control, of experiences that make us grow up even if we don’t want to. The protagonist comes to a point where, unable to grow up, he can no longer know himself. This is why he does not understand feelings such as love, nor all that belongs to the next phase of his life. He recognizes his limitations, like being unable to blow out the candles on his birthday cake, and this shocks him, because he is a child that maybe was never born, suspended in time like a crystal. This is the idea of a childhood that struggles to stay with us forever: it is a window in time that we close when we grow up and that we should keep open.

This will be a beautiful dance show, packed with fun but also important considerations. Have fun everybody!
