On May 27th, Year 8 and Year 9 classes participated in an “artistic orienteering” activity in the historic centre of Udine. Combining the typical characteristics of orienteering competitions (running, reading a map, orient yourself) with those of a real treasure hunt (interpreting clues, recognizing specific details in the environment), the students had to search and recognize some areas or monuments of the city center, following clues written in English and a map.

This beautiful initiative was promoted by our Art and Gym teachers, an original and engaging way to introduce the students to some lesser known area of Udine, and they responded with particular enthusiasm!
