Today, 03rd of May, Year 8 headed to the fortress city of Palmanova, with the aim of understading its urban and historical development over the years. The visit will begin with  a walk in the Bastions Park, so as to be able to closely observe an area of the city fortifications.

The students will then have the opportunity to observe a seventeenth century “countermine gallery” and the Baluardo Donato, a part of the bastions that gives the famous star shape to the city. The trip will end with a visit to Piazza Grande and the Duomo. A nice opportunity to discover one of the historical and architectural jewels of our Region!
