The use of new technologies is part of our daily routines and, for our children, the approach to these tools takes place at an increasingly early stage. New technologies allow for considerable possibilities, but they also present us various questions about their correct use in our personal and social life.

The Mills English School has already activated various training projects with experts for some classes and teachers. But we are also aware of the value of the collaboration between the school and the parents. This is why we’ll offer two online meetings, held by prof. Giacomo Trevisan, who has been dealing with the Digital Citizenship at School subject for many years.

The first meeting (9th of April) will be dedicated to the parents of Year 5, Year 6, Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 and will be entitled “Generation TikTok”. Professor Trevisan will speak about new online risks, legal aspects and educational strategies to protect and accompany children in the safe use of Internet, videogames and social networks.

During the second meeting (14th of April), entitled “The Digital Challenge”, some advice and strategies will be given to the parents from Year 1 to Year 5 in order to accompany their children in a safe and responsible use of the new technologies.
